Other people avatar hands/legs/head movement looks very choppy. Greatly breaks immersion.
The movement animations looks perceptibly worse than that of 5.3. It is a serious regression that, while it was fine for beta testing, is bad enough that I personally don't agree with the idea of releasing 5.6 with animations in this broken state.
I believe this is a HARD STOP on 5.6 rolling out as the step back for immersion is collossal. Definitely would look bad from a QA standpoint if 5.6 was released like this.

Strong progress on this since yesterday. Now too "smooth" to the point of it actually being slow, will need some tweaks before release.
This tweaks on yesterday is pretty good. But dynamic and fast body movement seems to be small and slow on other players. I think this tweakings is little too much now (2017/08/01)
We can see this how slow this is : Please change floor height from Vive Advanced Setting and return to game. and other players see you elevating slowly.

I believe this is effectively solved at this point. Interp on 5.6 as of the latest patch (build 224 rel 0.12.0rc4) is working great.
