If you update a world while you are in it with other people, and drop a portal to the update, the other people will stay in the first version of the world.

Hi all! We added some additional fixes for this in 2019.2.4 (which released on June 18, 2019). Is anybody still experiencing this issue?

gg67: I just tried this out and from what I can tell, it seems to be "mostly" fixed.  It seems the core functionality is working, however, there's an issue with the name of the world that is displayed.  
If I upload an update to a world I'm in, I can see the name of the newest version of the world.  When I click on it, however, it opens up with a detailed view of the old version of the world.  At least, it shows the name of the previous (old) version.  If I drop a portal, the name on the portal, from my perspective, is the name the old version, but to anyone accompanying me, they see the name of the new version.  Regardless, when we both jump in, we are taken the newest version.
To summarize, yes, the core functionality is working, but the incorrect world names popping up in the worlds menu is confusing and does not correctly display the name of the world you are about to go/drop a portal in to.

goblox: Thanks goblox. I've written up this issue. Not a top priority but something we will get to. We can keep this canny open until it's fixed.

This bit us at Endgame last night.. tried to do a quick update of the world to put a new slideshow in, but half the users still saw the old slideshow. :(

This old bug is back, and it makes testing worlds a pain. 
Each time they're updated, they have to be uploaded to a new ID to be tested.

Doesn't Necessarily require a restart.

But does require rejoining multiple times For it to Realize there is a new version (Tested last night while updating map) Also just giving it some time (5-10 mins) after upload and it should be fine and DL

Very likely you can also restart the client entirely, as the old bug was. I have yet to test that.
