Just to be able to talk without pressing V on PC, there should be an adjustable noise gate in the settings.

This is already implemented. By checking off "Toggle Voice" in settings, the microphone goes into a noise gate mode, and will only activate when speech/sound is detected.
If you are asking for a different feature, please create another post with a more specific request.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: Could you add a noise gate modifier for dB. Like, have it be able to set the pick up range lower so people which are soft and low or people which play instruments can be heard.
