If there is 'common friends' tab like discord, it makes us so easy to know who's friend when someone requests you.

You mean mutual friends. People in vrchat are disproportionately paranoid about drama. People feel this will infringe upon privacy, but it's standard feature in discord and some other social platforms.

Really good option i think, would help a friend or 2 i know who are being stalked on vrc by someones alts they keep making n sending friend requests from

Note that this does have privacy implications, as it allows a player to (partially) observe their friends' friend list.
