Yeah, it's on the list. To have online friends first and then offline in those rows. Might be a few releases before we can get to it.

Wait is that how it is currently? I just sorted people in groups and they were all offline so I didn't even notice. For sure this change needs to be made I was expecting I'd see everyone online to the left to begin with.

Another option would be to be able to toggle offline friends in groups.

Offline friends inside a group are currently shown. That's good to manage who's in a group but it also contradicts the good part of having groups, which to me is to filter friends to a smaller, well... group (like for example friends you hang out with the most), and being able to quickly check who's online in it.

So my suggestion is that close to the group's name (where you can click it to rename the group), there should be added a checkbox to show/hide the offline members of the group, or, maybe even better, just add an option in the system menu to do it to all groups.
