As said in said above title.
It seems to require way to much pressure (squeezing) on the controllers to close your fingers fully.

Should be a bit easier in 791. Try turning down your Force Hold Threshold on your Grip Grab action. https://docs.vrchat.com/v2019.2.3/docs/valve-index#section-set-default-bindings
Keep in mind that EV3 and DVs are noted to have much more "tough" squeeze sensors than CVs.

Yeah it's pretty bad, even after editing the controller settings in custom bindings there's really no difference. It's extremely uncomfortable having to constantly keep squeezing your controller to activate gestures.

My hands actually hurt pretty bad from having to squeeze the controller to make gestures tonight. Why do we have to squeeze for gestures at all? I'm a big fan of how Moondust and Neos handle their fingers in that the entire finger curve is handled before any grip is applied to the controller.

I set the grip threshold to 95% that seems to work for me

I believe Tupper - VRChat Head of Community mentioned that you could use custom bindings to edit how hard you have to grip, however, having the default a little lower would be great.
Having to grip so hard feels a little off for me at least. Maybe I need more muscle. :p
