[858] [Bug] No seated/standing toggle after disabling full body
Observer.
If you disable full body, by for example opening the steamvr menu, the seated/standing play toggle is not available in 3 point vr.
EDIT
As I discuss the unsupported steamvr method I fear this report will get ignored. Let me explain it like this:
If for any reason vrchat is missing the required trackers to initiate the FBT calibration, after FBT was previously detected, it will enter 3PT tracking and the seated/standing toggle that works in the live version of vrchat is missing because the calibrate button has replaced it even though you are no longer in 4/6PT tracking.
I would consider this a UI bug because 3PT tracking is officially supported in vrchat and has a functioning seated/standing toggle. Needing to restart the game just to get a UI button back sounds like a bug to me or potentially a poorly implemented calibrate button that does not return to the seated/standing toggle when FBT is not detected.
You can go from an officially supported 3PT tracking session to the game correctly identifying 4/6PT tracking that then switches the UI, but the current beta does not switch the UI back to the original 3PT tracking session when FBT is no longer detected. This is the whole reason I posted this report, no matter how minor it is, as I noticed functionality from the 3PT session just goes missing in favour of a game restart instead of the UI just silently changing back.

If for some reason you are looking for a suggestion on how to fix it, perhaps rather than outright replacing the seated/standing toggle you create a new quick menu called Tracking. This button replaces the existing seated/standing toggle button which then opens into a new quick menu where you can place all the buttons and functions related to tracking such as but not limited to: Calibrate, seated/standing, enable/disable FBT detection, etc. Have them all in one quick menu so nothing gets replaced and you keep the same functionality while also having space to put anything new that may be required until the full UI refresh is done.
Otherwise the simple fix right now would be to just give back the seated/standing button when 3PT tracking is currently being used just like how the calibrate button shows when it detects 4/6PT tracking.
Side note, I might suggest just turning the Calibrate button into a reload avatar button. That way if it is displayed alongside the seated/standing it can still have a function when in 3PT tracking.

This is not a supported method of disabling full-body.
As it currently stands, the only "officially supported" method of swapping between 3PT, 4PT, and 6PT tracking is restarting VRChat.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: While I know none of the many methods to disable full body is officially supported, switching to 3PT tracking in the current live version of vrchat still has the seated/standing toggle and it works as expected.

Launching the game in 3PT will then correctly identify if the user switches to 4/6PT. You say its not "officially supported" to then go back to 3PT but the game has at the very least now switched correctly to FBT even though you say its not officially supported to change without restarting the game. However, it fails to completely return the UI to the officially supported session that was launched in 3PT.
I would say somewhere along here is still a bug where the game at least correctly switched from 3PT to 4/6PT, but then never gives the seated/standing toggle back if it reverts from the FBT to 3PT. Either someone is unofficially supporting not needing to restart the game to go from 3PT to FBT, or now more likely it would be great to see the UI return when going from FBT to 3PT as expected that the UI already changes when it detects FBT. It would be great to see both officially supported rather than one way working and the other not.
