Allow Users to See Avatar Impostors Locally

I’ve always been under the impression that after generating an impostor for an avatar, such as iOS, I would then be able to log into the iOS version of the game and see the impostor for that avatar locally.
This never seems to be the case. Any avatars I’ve generated impostors for still show up as a “caution bot” when worn and I can’t see my own avatar. Why make impostors remote-only? They should be visible to all users, including the wearer.
This should work the same across all platforms. If a Quest player uses an avatar that isn’t actively uploaded to Android but has an Impostor, they should be able to see that impostor on their own body locally too.

is sorely confusing and gives the impression that the client is bugged.There may be times when a player uses a client different from their norm due to circumstance or for beta testing. Allowing them to
see
their own avatar, even if it's just the imposter, is considerably better than loading a robot, especially
if the client user is able to see the same imposter on another user.The current limitation really induces a "WTF? Why isn't it working" UX at the moment.
And, to hit it home: imagine you're a PC player who happened to go outside the home. You decide to fire up VRCHAT on your phone, and encounter someone with a cool AF avatar, in imposter form. You want to clone it, to bookmark it and check it out later, but you can't!

You can see it! It's right there! Why can they
wear it on mobile, but you
can't?!Suffice to say, this feels like a huge oversight of user expectations.

There is literally way too much work to even get the impostors work. Their main point is just to show the avatar, nothing else. If you want you want your avatar to show on your platform when playing on it, upload the avatar for it. This will introduce so many bugs and probably avatar breaking features, this is a bad idea. Upload your avatar on the platform you want to play it on.

This is not even available for android nor PC. You can see Impostors avatar info screen by clicking Impostor button on PC/Android/iOS.
This will never will be a feature just for iOS.

JantsoP I never specified this needs to be for iOS alone- all players should be able to see their imposters locally if that’s the only option available for that platform. An Android impostor should be visible if a player wears that avatar on quest and there isn’t an official Android upload.
