I'm surprised with that change.... there is already many cannys about making it less annoying, and devs just decided to go in opposite direction for no reason?

If you can afford to change the mute icon, please first clarify the difference between the "talking icon" and the "silent icon" to prevent the player from unaware that they are making noise.

It should be possible simply by changing the design of the "talking icon".

It would be great to have some customization options for the icons. Like being able to use a custom icon, or just the new bottom label.

Also, the new mute sound is helpful, but it would be nice to have options to turn on and off sounds for mute and unmute. I often accidentally unmute my mic and don't notice for a while.

I'm fine with the text but the fading in and out is distracting.
