It would be perfect if animation overloads could be an optional thing in SDK3 on top of the special menu stuff. It is just by far a lot easier to set up custom animations and gestures for when you don't need as much flexibility. The other layers should still take priority but it would make it easy for users to transfer over SDK2 avatars and add SDK3 menus and magic onto them with less trouble. Another issue is with blinking only being one blend shape. Sometimes people only end up making one for each eye and that can be an issue when trying to update for SDK3, as it only requires one blend shape for each eye animation.
