[858] [Bug] Opening steamvr menu to disable full body after hitting calibrate button
Observer.
If you open the steamvr menu after hitting the calibrate button to try and disable full body it will put you in 3 point vr correctly but does not get rid of the calibration balls and controllers. In addition it does not give you the seated/standing toggle.
EDIT
As I discuss the unsupported steamvr method I fear this report will get ignored. Let me explain it like this:
If for any reason vrchat is missing the required trackers to initiate the FBT calibration, after FBT was previously detected , it will enter 3PT tracking and this bug will occur. The steamvr example is just an easy reproducible method.

This is not a supported method of disabling full-body.
As it currently stands, the only "officially supported" method of swapping between 3PT, 4PT, and 6PT tracking is restarting VRChat.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: There are many ways to disable FBT. for example just turning a controller off will cause vrchat to enter 3PT because it is missing all the required trackers for 4/6PT. The steamvr menu is just the most common usage.
I could have probably reworded the bug report by explaining that for any reason if vrchat is missing the required trackers to initiate the FBT calibration it will enter 3PT and this bug will occur. The steamvr example is an easy reproducible method.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: I'd argue that turning the trackers off works just fine too but without an offically "toggle FBT" button one just has to live with the alternative methods.

I'd argue that this method is not a proper way to disable FBT anyways. In fact, FBT not loading properly when opening the SteamVR overlay could be considered a bug on its own.
Observer.
Not sure it is vrchats fault here because as far as I am aware once you open the steamvr menu it stops sending tracker information. They do already recheck for FBT once an avatar reloads which is a decent fix for this.
If they were to completely fix this issue without allowing us to disable FBT in game, that would surely anger many users. Currently there is a decent middle ground where we have many ways to disable FBT if needed without restarting the game. An official implementation is still highly requested though so I would not be opposed to a fix if they also included a way to disable FBT.
