World - Age Restriction by Default

There should be an option to set the world to 18+ by default and restrict it to only that. Any other instance, whether its a group, invite only, etc will be defaulted to 18+
This is an option that could be toggled by the creator in the SDK or WebGUI that no one else can change

I'm definitely all for setting worlds to 18+ by default. They pretty much ruined VRC by allowing children as young as 13 to sign up and be on it.

Definitely this would be so beneficial. If you have an age approved account you can mark your uploaded worlds as age-gated and private.

DragonAsh Would prefer this as I'm one of those folks currently with no intention of ever getting age verified over VRchat.
It's bad enough VRchat themselves already mentioned earlier this year about looking to implement a requirmenet for age verification to access/see any content tagged as adult or sexually suggestive. I guess if that shit every goes through, hopefully it'll push content creators to more a more adult friendly platform like ChilloutVR.
I'm also not sure either would do anything about NSFW world/world content that keeps getting removed; presumably from members of the anti-NSFW crowd who've gone out of their way to make accounts for and seek out other communities where folks share these kind of world links, just to report the content. VRchat is likely to keep actioning those reports regardless of whether the instance requires age verification or can officially be set to private as 18+ and adult content are not mutually inclusive.
They would have to officially make it clear and change the rules to outline that it would be acceptable under those circumstances (or what additional steps would need to be taken to make it acceptable). And doing that would put a target on their back with payment processors and others platforms (app stores, etc...)

Because of these kids-obsessed people, half the internet is in ruins or only works through a VPN. How do you decide to determine whether someone is 18 or not? Will you demand a passport and check it? Or is registration in VRChat only possible with a passport? All you want is to create additional problems for everyone and nothing more. This idiocy has been going on in our country since 2012, tilting at windmills. Do you think anything helped? Yes. Kids learned to use VPNs, putting a strain on ISPs. A lot of money tilting at windmills. And also problems for those who are already 18 years old.
If you want to keep your room 18+, create a forum where you check IDs and grant access to your room, and enjoy. However, you'll be almost alone there, as this issue mostly affects you alone. For example, I'd rather delete VRChat than give anyone my passport. And nothing would stop me from giving someone a photo of someone else's fake adult passport.
It's just a laugh.

Cerkovnay Mish Listen, I get its rough. But its easier to moderate and BAN an account that shouldnt be on there, than the current public instance way. Besides, the only thing this post is asking for, is for 18+ instances for those ALREADY verified through VRChat's Age verification. A VPN can't bypass VRChat age restricted instances. 18+ Instances are mainly for smaller groups anyway. Rarely will you see such a LARGE amount of people conglomerate on a whim, unless there's a genuine event going on. Do what you want with your own account, but for some of us with SENSE, this just works.

Michelle_CoyoteAt a minimum, VRChat+ isn't available in all countries. Verification can be bypassed with the help of adults, but that won't save you. However, the creator's ability to set a password for their world and change it could, at a minimum, be shared with anyone they actually know. Finding and obtaining a password for a specific world will be much more difficult than bypassing verification.

讓創作者有機會創建18+世界但是要求驗證創作者以及玩家
如果世界疑似18+可以要求創作者在有效天數內更改內容
或是改為18+世界來限制未成年出入 但是官方要找出對應判斷未成年的方式
並不是未成年處理不了所以導致創作者或是製作模型的玩家受到懲處

This is great, because it doesn't prevent VRChat from making money - PLUS it keeps users not 18+ Verified SAFE from instances. Could even go a step further and ensure that no 18+ Instance world cannot be seen on the explore page until verified. Win-Win. Let adults be adults without circumventing the 18+ system so users will still need to pay to access via Age Verification.

Allowing world creators to mark their worlds as restricted to 18+ and forcing instances to be 18+ should be a good option.
Perhaps also only allowing for these worlds to be discoverable in search for 18+ verified users.
