Tried to verify age, but apparently it requires a fancy enough phone to scan a code to get to the step past the ID card photo. Need a method for those of us that can't spend between 2 weeks of groceries to a month's rent on a fancy phone and webcam.

I can afford my little flip phone and a cheap digital camera with limited video recording function.
