PII data stolen from Persona, YOU ALL LIED!!!!
~MidnightVR~
You said it was secure. You lied just as horribly as Persona has been lying through their asses. Personally Identifiable Information IS NOT SECURE!!! FIND A NEW ALTERNATIVE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT USER TRUST AND SAFETY AND DOESN'T FORCIBLY INVADE PRIVACY OF USERS!!!

I'm not opposed.
I'm guessing you're referencing vmfunc's report back in Feburary. Tell me if there's any update since then.
To my understanding (please go read the original posts), no, it did NOT reveal such evidence that actual personal information was stolen from Persona. Instead, it explains how they discovered
strange
codes being public. In a later update, Persona CEO showed up and stated the codes were unused. So, are they evil? None of us knows.
Should you trust Persona? Probably no. However, VRChat team is basically 'trusting Persona so far'.
I think Age Verification itself is a privacy nightmare by concept. I do not want it anywhere online. Because it all comes down to where they ask you to put your trust. It's funny that even such
safety
companies are doing the exact opposite of what we learned in school: Do not share your personal information online.Just think that no company has cared about privacy for ages.
