A player's nameplate won't appear until their warp effect has played, which only happens once they enter avatar culling distance.

Self explanatory.
I've spent a long time looking for friends at events only to realize they have a warp effect and are a nameplate-less diamond.

Warp effect Bug
Sunnydragoon
Apparently I discovered that anyone that has warp effect on, when they join their profile Icons of friends or other people don't show until they get close. It mostly happens to big world maps that have long distances. I have Avatar culling viewing distance enabled and it maybe the cause to it.
1.Enable the Warp Effect.
2.Enable Avatar Culling Viewing Distance.

I could reproduce the issue. The Warp Effect hides the nameplate when the user is culling while joining.
Also, the warp effect appears when the avatar is shown as the user comes inside the culling boundary. I think it should not do that either.
Reproduce steps
- Prepare two clients, X: watcher and Y: joiner
- X configure Avatar Culling settings (turn on "Hide Beyond", and turn off "Always Show Friend Avatars" )
- Y equips a Warp Effect
- X leaves from the spawn point of the world so that joiners will cull out
- Y joins the world instance where X is. Y will see their Warp Effect (as expected)
- X will see a diamond as a hidden avatar (as expected), but no nameplate above it (unexpected)
- Player Y walks to X as being inside the culling radius
- X will see the avatar (as expected). Also, the Warp Effect will be shown (unexpected). And the nameplate will be shown
If Y disables the Warp Effect on step 3, Y will see the nameplate on step 6.
