if they get fixed i will be happy because i dont want Remake all my work ;-;
I should've set this to "in progress" initially since we've been working on it since it was reported.
We've figured out the common thread between the avatar sounds dying, it's only on avatars with more than 3 audio sources. It seems like there was some attempt to curb volume limit bypassing, but it backfired because it didn't have any nuance for audio sources having different clips and playtimes.
@octuplex: Sure hope this isn't true, because bypassing audio limits is important for some effects, and if you don't like someone's audio you can just turn it off.
I'll dispute that it's important to bypass audio limits. a max-volume explosion is loud enough. wanting a high dynamic range is one thing, giving everyone else a high dynamic range they didn't ask for is another. However, phase syncing audio is a very inefficient way of increasing volume, since perceived volume is logarithmic, every percentage increase requires exponentially more audio sources. I can understand what they're going for, but this is a really, really bad way of going about it if it's true.
All of my Audio Source Is Not Working And Im Using the Latest SDK it aint working at all :L i can hear some of my friends audio but they cant hear mine or their own
I hope this gets fixed asap
It seems if you have two or more audio sources it happens to them. I tested multiple ways of adding the sources and it doesn't matter. If you have only one though; it seems to work most of the time.
