Avatar Scaling causing position constraints to incorrectly scale

using the new avatar scaling with my avi that has position constraints is causing an odd issue where the postion for my chest is staying put when scaling causing it to invert in on itself when scaling to a larger size

StormRel this got fixed and Unity contraints got replaced with VRC Contraints. this should be done.

This is specifically for constraints with OFFSETS.
Parent constraints are also broken. Maybe something in execution order changed?

Not sure why this hasn't been marked as fixed yet but it has since about a week ago, this issue described in the patch notes is what this post was about -Fixed translation offsets for position constraints not scaling correctly-

I have constraints for my sword and they all scale perfectly fine. Their is something "unique" about your avatar setup that could probably be recreated to recreate the bug. After watching the video I don't know why you are trying to use constraints on your tits whatever I just watched it's all wrong anyway

Interesting. This doesn't seem to affect some of my position constraints. I have a rifle on my avatar that uses a position constraints to move it from my hand to my back and it appears to scale correctly. I should test some of my other avis to see if I can reproduce this.

Just a bit off topic, wanted to add cloth components having similar negative effects due to how scaling is done. Particle effects scaling as well are off a bit.

This makes all of my avatars (that use position and rotation constraints to fix crappy VRC IK implementation and their "fixes") pretty much useless with native scaling. I can pick between scaling or having deformation / fix bones working.

larcWoof: VRChat allows you to set a custom IK pose on the avatar descriptor. Have you tried this yet? I had to do this for one of my avatars, and it works better for me than constraint workarounds. The only drawback is that it is a major pain in the ass since you have to make an animation for the pose.

My issue is my arms go thru my head like clipping when small I didn't have that issue using gogo scaling
