Avatar server processing takes too long

Avatar server processing has started to take longer and longer within recent, and is now taking upwards of one (1) minute to process avatars.

I'm running into something similar where older avatars take minutes to load, then it will timeout and fall back to the error avatar. If I keep trying eventually it might work, but I have to get lucky. This whole process can take upward of 5 minutes of waiting for the timeout and retrying and there's no guarantee it will ever work.
The solution is to always reupload the avatar, if I reupload it the avatar loads instantly but with 20+ avatars it's hard to always go back and reupload or sometimes not possible.

There was a client bug which caused it to be slower than intended with polling the API for the progress of server processing, in the case of your avatar would have meant 30s instead of 20s of waiting. In the next update this has been fixed so the client checks more often (as intended), meaning it should be closer to that 20s.
Additionally though last week some optimisations were made which halved the processing time and so instead of 20s it'll be closer to 10s (in your case)
