Changing avatars too quickly in succession causes the previous avatar to stay loaded

When a user changes avatar and then decides to quickly change again, all other users will not load the new avatar unless the previous one had already finished loading.
This results in users potentially seeing different avatars on eachother.

this also happens when you hide someones avatar and they switch. after they tell you they have changed when you unhide the avatar it stays as the avatar you blocked rather than load the avatar they switched to
