Completed hype train did not give reward

I was in an instance where $650 worth of vrchat gifts were dropped and I did not recieve the pride fan. It's possible that this happened because my account ID is the old style (IcFlB5xJud) which has broken events in the past like the halloween candy event.

I've also experienced this first-hand. No VRC+ gift animation played, no hype train start or completion was triggered from a 100 drop. People seemed oblivious of getting a month of VRC+. There was no VRC+ Hype Train ongoing when this gift drop started.
The VRC+ gifter disconnected.
The VRC+ Hype Train requirement was reduced from 100 gifts to 50 gifts today. (10 prerelease → 100 → 50)

From what I've anecdotally heard from users in VRChat Pride Hub instances, a VRC+ 100 gift drop does not count for the hype train.
