Desktop crouching looks bad
complete

I've posted about this before for the beta, but it wasn't fixed. It seems like there isn't a "crouching animation" at all, as when Desktop users crouch now they keep their idle, just with the viewpoint and model pushed down. It looks really awkward on everyone, especially people with custom idles. On top of this, adding in a custom crouch animation does absolutely nothing now. I I checked multiple avatars, both mine and not, with and without custom idles.

Marking this as complete, because in AV3, you can easily replace the crouch animation and change the behavior.
Also, we tweaked crouch a bit and considering nobody's noted any further issues in here for nearly a year, yeah, let's just call this good for now.

LOUD AUDIBLE COUGH
Still can't seem to override the crouchidle slot.
Eremite
The main issue I have with this is that the fix that was applied after the initial report of buggy desktop crouch now blocks you from overriding the crouch animation. You can still drop an animation into the override slot, but it does not take effect when you upload.

Eremite: Yeah, exactly. I had a crouching animation that looked good but after the "fix" it just looked worse

I thought crouching in general looks bad, even with VR...
well, unless you use full body tracking but how many people have that?

Groxxy: Yeah, it does, but it was most noticeable on desktop people, so I didn't notice that at the time of making this~

Same for me :(
Pan Diman
Crouching isn't half as bad as prone animations.

Pan Diman: Prone animations can be fixed with custom ones though, whereas crouching animations can't anymore, that slot in the override doesn't do anything now.

I like the initial crouch and prone animations in the 2018.3.1 build. I've no idea why they changed it :/

This is something we're aware of. We've swapped back and forth between several crouch/prone animation blends, and each time we do it is reported as a bug/issue.
We need to spend a little bit of time tuning crouch in the desktop IK, but it is a matter of fitting it into our cycle.
