Finger index bend itself

I've known about the problem with the index finger bending on its own for a long time, around 3 or 4 years. I believed the VRChat team would fix it, but they never did. I need to report this bug, which affects people using Valve Index controllers. For years, we thought our controllers were broken, leading us to replace them through SteamVR or buy new ones, but the issue is actually a bug in VRChat.
For those of us who are deaf and use sign language, this bug is particularly uncomfortable and causes miscommunication sometime.

This issue happens to me all the time. I have to keep drumming the controllers like almost every 5 minutes. I tested my controllers in Aperture Hand Lab and SteamVR's Test Controller feature. Both controllers looked fine. This issue does harm people's communication and cause us to misunderstand others. Hppedeaf mentioned 3 or 4 years. It is really long. This is a long term issue and the VRChat team have to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Yes, that finger bending is really annoying when we try to communicate in sign language. Some people thought it was a controller issue and bought new ones, but the finger still bends. In other games, such as BoneLab and Alyx, we checked, and the fingers are straight and work perfectly.
To check the controller settings, go to SteamVR -> Settings -> Controller -> Test Controller.
Even when we let the index finger straighten up, VRChat still shows the index finger bending.
