Following up to https://vrchat.canny.io/bug-reports/p/logout-exploit-2 where having to relogin is fixed, but a new issue is now getting sent home or stuck in a login loop because it fails to grab session token.

Forced log out exploit making it less fun to visit public instances, and sometimes even friends+.

Had really been enjoying visiting public worlds by having animations turned off for everyone but friends, but now it seems there is a hacked client going around that can force log people out of the game.
The past two days I have been forced out of the game enough times to make it not really worth visiting public worlds anymore, and unfortunately it's bled into friends+ worlds with friends who unfortunately are friends of friends of cancerous people.
Hopefully ya'll can get this situation sorted as it was nice to be able to meet strangers outside of friend groups once again but now, not so worth it anymore.

This issue needs to be fixed asap. And its not like this has been around for a short period of time. More and more people are using that script or whatever it is. Getting disconnected by salty people everyday now. This seriously needs to stop. I'm very patient but I'll play less and less in public instances because of this shit. Seriously...

I agree. I have actually stopped playing a lot of the time due to this. I get home from work and its just not worth it playing a social game that you can no longer be social in. Many of my friends are doing the same and are now moving to other vr social platforms.
This has been going on now for over a month and there has been a lock out of communication from the development team to the point it is making them look bad and not care. I choose to hope its just them being bad at communicating to the community.

They can also force prefabs onto you even after blocking. And those can slow down your computer a lot which is what I think is worse than logging out. I also heard they can inject custom scripts into your client that way.

This has been an issue for about a month or more now and the fact that the devs haven't even addressed this issue themselves and more or less ignored it is concerning. It's a huge security issue.

big agree. it seems people will act obnoxiously by saying rude and offensive things, then when anybody calls them out they'll just force everyone out of the world. these script kiddies are getting out of control. there have been numerous instances where I've met a brand new user and their first VRChat experience is filled with simpletons amusing themselves by behaving like children. Hopefully this exploit can be patched out and the people using the exploit can be banned.
