I removed the fps cap with steam using : --fps=0 in the launch parameters to avoid lag spikes but small problem, the horizontal view is super slow but the vertical view is working well

Setting FPS to "Unlimited" slows horizontal mouse Speed.

Saw older posts discussing this, but not recently. Most discuss uncapping FPS through launch options or the like.
With the ability to uncap now part of VRChat proper, it is now more pertinent to get attention drawn to this.
Build version: 1296
- Open VRChat in DESKTOP MODE specifically.
- Go to Settings-> Graphics Tab-> "Common"-> FPS Cap-> Set to "Unlimited"
- Attempt to move your mouse. Vertical movement seems to be fine, but horizontal is SEVERELY decreased.
Extra: Depending on if your monitor supports higher FPS values (120, 144, etc.), you may even see this on "VSYNC" mode, as the bug seems to be tied to framerate.
I see mention of what
could
be causing it in multiple Canny's mentioning "Time.deltaTime". I have two here, one is from 2020, the other from 2022. I'm not... all that technical, so I'll just put them in this post.Edit: I searched high and low for one, but perhaps I'm not using the right search terms. If there is a canny post for this particular issue, by all means direct me. Everything I found was
mostly

Horizontal mouse movement
Voiceless Pal
I play the game with very low dpi and lowest available in-game mouse sensitivity
since update VRChat 2018.4.1 it's very hard to move screen horizontally with my settings...
if I move my mouse slowly it does not move screen at all...
for vertical axis everything working fine

Desktop Mode view jitters when looking left/right
Sputnik-
I've noticed this on the Default Home world immediately after spawning in since I tend to walk to the mirror before jumping to different worlds.
I'm not sure what causes this exactly but it appears to be world dependant as some worlds don't have this problem.

It might be related to the new fps limit option they added, try capping your fps to your monitors refresh rate in the settings menu under graphics.

Pick up mouse and place it back down again.

Although I used RAWINPUT.EXE, I felt a similar phenomenon, I feel like I'm playing an operation judgment less than 2over pixels.

Turning speed was corrected but this case has not been improved yet.
Perhaps it is thought that similar problems are occurring when turning with a joystick other than a mouse.
(Specifically, if you operate a fine stick, the up and down movements are entered earlier than the left and right turns of the viewpoint)
