Dear devs of vrchat,
As an PROUD Indian man, I find it profoundly disheartening that my mother tongue, Hindi, has been spelt incorrectly in its native Devanagari script in the "choose language" sub-menu.
While I can understand that the limited abilities of the Anglo-Saxon mind are not suitable to grasp the intricacies of the vastly superior Indo-Aryanic alphasyllabary,
human faculty for pattern recognition and the discernment of shapes emerges during the earliest stages of cognitive development, thereby eliminating any justification for such an egregious and inexcusable error.
I demand that you fix this error with the correct spelling (हिन्दी or हिंदी) immediately. attached are the screenshots of this bug. >:(

As a black man who is very enriched in his culture, I would expect errors of my culture to be fixed. I think a game who claims to be inclusive of all backgrounds and people should try to uphold that standard that they set for themselves.

Hugely important this is fixed as I feel it is a racist issue against all of the Indian community on VRC

As someone whose language isn't even listed, I agree!
Breadio
this is a disgusting misrepresentation of the hindi language by the vrchat translation team and I personally will only be playing vrchat for 7 hours tomorrow instead of the initially planned 10

As a Chinese man I can understand how this, seemingly small, bug can have massive repercussions to ones identity. So I would strongly urge this issue to be resolved in order for my Asian comrade to be satisfied and so that he can sleep easy. This is no laughing matter and I will be following this post to stay updated on this terrible news, the mistake from the VRchat team.

I can vouch that he is, in fact, a PROUD Indian man (he has a gun against my head)
