Something in the VRC backend is turning some old (non-crasher) avatars into crashers

DatGek
- Change into avatar, 2. Kill all PC users with unity error.
I wish I had more info but I don't, it's happened to 3 people I know including myself, just change into an older (not recently updated) avatar, wait for it to initialize, and then everyone on PC just dies.
~~Only connection between the avatars is that at least 2/3 had GPU particle systems~~ (GPU particles are definitely irrelevant), re-uploading the avatar and making 0 changes to it (besides updating SDK ver and some other editor only packages, didn't think to test without changing that) fixes it, and makes it no longer a crasher.
(happens to all PC players who load the avatar, regardless of version)
Edit: just learned it also happens when avatar loads into menu.
edit 2: learning more, likely not shader related as loading into the avatar with fallback shaders enabled still causes crash.

Short update, I've been taking a look over an area I know the corruption is occurring in trying to find anything that could be going awry. While doing so I identified a potential cause and have added some preventative measures. This is a very hard to reproduce issue so time will tell if another case like this pops up or if this is now solved, in any case I'll be keeping a look out. If no new cases of this issue occurs in the next 4 weeks I'll mark this as complete.

Anyone affected by this issue please pass along the avatar id(s) or author + avatar name (though it can be harder to find by name)

One of the aforementioned avatars would be (public):
avtr_4aa9976d-fe7a-4666-962b-fccdd9080fc0
I uploaded this Avatar a few years ago and it was working a couple of months ago, haven't updated it since and now causes a client crash whenever unpacked...
It was built and uploaded in 2019.4.31f1

fundale: You appear to have run into an _exceptionally_ rare edge case where the server processing that occurs on content ends up spitting out a slightly malformed copy. So far I've run into one singular other case of this and have never been able to reproduce the issue myself. I've reprocessed the mentioned avatar so it should be working again however if you run into any other cases like this please do send me the avatar id(s) as I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.
