[1384] Make it more clear that cancelling a subscription immediately ends your benefits
_spidget
I got curious and was wondering what cancelling a subscription did. When I read the wording of the pop-up confirming the cancellation, I was immediately confused because I thought that it would be pointless to have the cancel button if nothing happens. Then I clicked confirm and realized that my benefits were gone a few minutes later.
Please change this wording in the pop-up to let users be certain that their paid benefits will immediately end when they confirm to cancel a subscription.

I agree, that button shouldn't even be there. "Cancel immediately" sounds like you want to end a subscription, not that you want to give up what you won't get refunded.
Although removing a subscription earlier voluntarily can make sense in some rare cases, it's definitely not the standard use case, so it should not be disguised as a harmless cancel button in default color. It should be red, with a big red warning that clarifies that you won't get your money back and give up the rewards that you already paid for if you click it.
I have at least one customer who probably ran into this trap and wanted to cancel the refundable part of the subscription, but cancelled it immediately instead.

I'd go as far as to say this behaviour should be changed entirely. This is really scummy. If I pay for a month of something I'd expect to have it for a month. Hitting 'cancel' is generally seen as a method of stopping auto-renew, not immediately clearing your benefits.
Please consider changing this. Why would someone want to immediately lose something they bought?
