Hi, I think the inclusion of a portal from the revamped VRChat Home world to the VRChess world by Nex1942 would be perfect for new users for the following reasons:

Established Quality: With over 3.4 million visits, 95,000 favorites, and an average of 150 active players at all times, VRChess already has an established reputation of quality and liveliness.
Compatibility and Performance: The world is fully Quest compatible, is well optimized, and has a download size under 70 MB.
The Chess Experience in VR
Visitor & New User-Friendly: Serves as a great way for those new to VRChat, prone to motion sickness, or new to VR in general to familiarize themselves with the controls and mechanics of the game and medium.
Immersive Chess Boards: The chess boards have a "complete" feel, featuring satisfying animations, appearance, sounds, tactile feedback, board logic, and four alternate chess variants.

VR Chess is the best!!! I go there very regularly and it is my favorite world in all of VRChat. The people of the VRChessClub have become my best internet friends and they are super-friendly and very helpful to newbies. There are some good chess players there, but also a lot of just regular folks that like to have fun while hanging out.

All of what Colt45 said in his post is true, not hype. He is not exaggerating in any way. Actually, I think he is understating some of the positive aspects.

VRChess by Nex1942 in the revamped VRChat Home world would bring a lot of attention to a world that deserves it. The nice thing about the chess world is that it's a very well done game that's virtually grief proof with boards that players sign into. It's a good place for people of all ages and skill levels to come together and participate in a virtual activity that is normally only done in person or against a faceless person online. It really resembles a real life chess club. Tons of people in the community are willing to teach and be taught. It's one of the best ways to make friends and experience what VRChat is all about and what it is intended to be.

Even though I haven’t been in the VRChess instance in sometime, I believe that it does deserve to be here. I remember getting curious with the world I was never really good at chess to begin with, but overtime I met players who were welcoming and they also taught me how to play better and improve my games. The VRChess community is probably one of the most welcoming places in VRChat and I come back every now and then to sharpen my chess games. Overall a very welcoming community and a great learning place for all ages.

Going to IRL Chess clubs can be quite challenging for many reasons, including distance for travelling, membership costs and the simple fact that they are usually only open for a very limited time each week. This world eliminates all these problems while still providing an equivalent feel of playing people over-the-board, and at a scale far greater than any local Chess club. It's an easy, comfortable and endlessly entertaining place to be.

I'm not the biggest fan for chess as a game, but the community in this VRCHAT edition makes it so enjoyable. I've met plenty of people i consider friends here and it especially has helped me make friends and come out of my shell. It's great, new user friendly and people here are so kind to teach you how to play, give you tips and help advance your current skill. ALSO, AWESOME PEN FEATURE SO YOU CAN DRAW!!!!

VRChess Club is THE reason I go on VR Chat everyday. I've made great friends and I really love that it's a real, professionally run chess club that is helpful and encouraging to new players, while also having plenty of stronger players. There are people to challenge anyone at any level.
