Automatically hide NSFW avatars (marked with content warning)

When uploading avatars you can mark content warnings such as nudity, blood, violence, etc. Could these avatars have a menu option to not load by default, this is would give streamers and people wanting to avoid loading these NSFW models a better experience.

So under 18 people know also an option to hide it from those people is a good idea too

interesting thing to think about:

Yeah I have no idea why they don't make use of that when uploading an avatar... Chillout uses this. As long as the uploader correctly marks it once they upload. And if they don't the avatar gets taken down.

Think it's time to revive this considering the new twitch TOS.
NSFW or Not Family Friendly don't necessarily mean nudity. And twitch's TOS is a prime example of this.
A NSFW or Not safe for stream tag should be added and become a filter option for safety settings.

I like this idea.
I also think that avatars marked NSFW should by default be greyed out if you're in a public world (just a client side check).
The NSFW tags could be used to prevent most accidents (sometimes switching avatars too fast causes it to not change for some players, etc.)
But VRChat might not be able to add this feature as they need the game to have the 13+ rating. Adding a "hide mature avatars" setting is basically the same as allowing mature avatars to be uploaded in the first place.
They'd at least need some excuse like "we're adding the system so people can tag their spooky halloween avatars"

Caffeinated_weeb: But there is already when uploading an avatar options like "NSFW" and "gore" and some others. And it isnt against rules to have a NSFW avatar. only using one in friends+ or public worlds is not allowed.

Yes, anyone can upload mature avatars and the current rules are far too lenient. Players should be requires to mark their uploads as NSFW else risk ban if they use that model in public worlds.
Default hiding mature avatars as vrchats rules in public worlds should be enforced. Players should be required to register their age, so those of age can view the content.
Adding this as an option in safety settings, would help.

Good idea. I'll give this an upvote.
