Being able to block only an avatar of a player

The block and mute features are very useful features. However, when you want to hear and see a player but their avatar is too performance heavy, has annoying props, animations, music, emissions, etc, I think you should be able to block/hide their avatar. I think, because you aren't blocking them entirely, There should be a blank or default avatar (such as the red, transparent, unity-bot avatar) that you will see as their avatar instead. That way you can still hear them, and have a visual representation of them. I have, and I bet many others have too, come across many situations where this would be useful.
TL,DR: Suggestion for the ability to hide an annoying avatar with a process similar to the block/mute function, that replaces the avatar, only in your POV, with a default avatar. That way you can still talk to, and see the avatar of the player.

Hey it's me, Dario!
Agreed. Very important because in some worlds I dont want to block all avatars, especially those of the people I am talking to.
Something to add: the default "block" avatars should adapt to the size of the blocked avatars. So when I am speaking to a Loli I actually know it's a Loli and not a normal sized avatar.

Having a block/unblock button would be great, although my usage would be way different. Usually when it comes to largely filled servers I tend to use the 'block avatars by default' then I go and find my friends. But then the group tends to become bigger, so I usually have to add them to my friends list to see their avatar or decide to unblock all avatars and go through hellish frame rates. Having an 'unblock avatar' button on a player by player basis would be great in this case!

Yes, this needs to get in. With the Block Avatars by Default system already in, it's a perfect solution to people's horribly optimized avatars. People don't texture atlas, they throw dynamic bones on EVERYTHING. So one user can pretty much take 10-20 frames away from you single handed.
But I don't want to block them because they may have gotten it from a World and don't know any better, or they're just short-cutting the process and are a nice person regardless.
This would help performance as you can pretty much block avatars with the 40 dynamic bones in their hair avatars while still being able to talk to them.

Actually, yea, I like this idea. There are times I just want to block someone for a particular avatar, and if they chance that avatar, then they no longer are blocked. Perhaps it gets tied to the avatar ID (although that ID will still remain hidden)
I don't want to fully block people just for an avatar, but just block that avatar... though I can imagine there are those with multiple avatars who will swap out when they realize everyone' blocked their avatar.... but at least this would be a good step forward.

Kalista Phoenix: Then having both a "block current avatar" and a "block all custom avatars from this user" would be useful for situations like this
