Being Banned Without Warning Is Really Unfair
himanano
My world was banned, but why does that also come with a three-day user ban without any prior warning?
Simply removing a world and banning the user without explaining the reason makes it look like negligence on the staff’s part.
I have also heard that decisions are made based only on the contents of reports, but are these cases really being reviewed properly?
At the very least, I think there should be a warning first.
Are world creators expected to accept the risk of being banned just for creating worlds? There may be updates for other worlds, events to host, or events to attend, and preventing all of that feels like an excessive burden being placed on players.
If this situation does not improve, then as a creator, I will hesitate to continue making content at all.

The recent issue of world deletions has become extremely serious, and I completely understand why you see it as a major concern. It is undeniably jarring and disheartening to see worlds that feature various expressions—which had been tolerated until now—suddenly disappear without any prior warning. Looking at the traces of missing worlds in one's favorites list day after day leaves a lingering sense of sadness. Even if the vanished worlds contained some form of sexual content or highly niche expressions, they were not forcing it upon the general public, and the majority of them could hardly be classified as explicit nudity.
In the first place, what is the purpose of the 18+ age verification method provided in this game? Instead of resorting to outright elimination, shouldn't isolation be the proper approach?
Regarding the specific world in question this time, it contained practically none of the aforementioned sexual elements. The only notable feature was a pen that makes sounds. If the moderation is strict enough to regulate a world like this, wouldn't it be far better for the community to handle malicious stickers and toxic users instead?
Furthermore, despite the near-total absence of sexual content in this instance, the enforcement went beyond just deleting the world; it also resulted in a short-term ban for the user.
To be completely honest, isn't that an overreaction?
Did he use a crasher avatar in a public instance? Not at all.
It is difficult to agree with the excessive exclusion of such communities. At the same time, I am not asking for them to be forced upon everyone. I simply believe that there should be a place where we can coexist in an isolated format—separate from those who cannot tolerate such subcultures or where it might be deemed inappropriate for younger audiences.

I THINK THE RECENT VRCHAT MODERATION TEAM IS REALLY LOSING ITS MIND
I thought that the reason was the reason for the definition of "a gathering place to seek sexual connection" after receiving the deletion and ban of the matching world made by Mr. Jonipon, which has been a hot topic recently.
However, from the guidelines, it is a gray zone and the definition area is vague, so I thought that the definition should be clearer even if it is moderated.
However, in this "眉間を壊すチルワールド", the purpose is not "a gathering place for seeking sexual connection", but does not contain any sources that are subject to moderation.
It's not a content worth moderating at all
As a result, it may have become a place like the above definition...
If that's the case
The behavior and public opinion of the join user will lead to the moderation of the world producer.
In the event of unauthorized sexual expression within the group, etc., there are cases where the person in charge of the group is subject to moderation, but it is not specified that the world producer is responsible for it.
In other words, it is very likely that this moderation is unfair.
If the objection to the above is rejected, we will lose more trust in VRCHAT operation.
I wish you good luck

"Are world creators expected to accept the risk of being banned just for creating worlds?"
I agree, VRChat has no content without the efforts of world creators. If someone with a clean record has never made a mistake before, why be so harsh? The goal should be to correct what ever they are not happy with, not find a reason to ban.
I understand that the risk of a ban is a deterrent to people who might add something bad to a world, but people with obviously bad intentions are different from a first time or light offense. Mitigating factors are important and should be considered. Escalating factors exist too, of course.

I agree with this completely.
I was also banned recently. In the past, this kind of content was not considered a problem, but lately bans are being issued suddenly without any warning or explanation.
On top of that, having monetization revoked at the same time feels excessive. It honestly feels like this approach is only accelerating the loss of creators and users from the platform.
If creators always have to worry about being banned without notice, it becomes difficult to feel motivated to continue making content.
