So we don't have to be split, unless a friend/account migration transfer was allowed from Steam to VRC, I'm stuck between two worlds from having custom avatars to the ease of use of steam and keeping my friends that I care for very dearly.
tl;dr allow for a Steam account to be tied to VRC, friends and worlds, everything syncs.

could merging the ranks, and time played, of the accounts be included? i have friends who are ranked 'known user' on their steam accounts, and have over 500+ hours played on VRChat.

I completely agree. It would also be nice if you automatically become friends with you steam friends whenever they join vrchat for the first time.

As the title says, a way to link Steam / VRChat accounts to each other, or migrate from a Steam account to a VRChat account, giving Steam users an option to create their own avatars, but also keep the friends list / favorite worlds.
I know things like this are already on here, though mostly scattered around and asking for 1 particular part of it. If this is a duplicate of an other (which is possible, only seen about 20 "suggested posts". Although "Connect Steam to VRChat Account" is very similar if not the same), feel free to remove this.
An example is the way Gaijin can link Steam / Gaijin accounts.
