Decibel Limit on Avatar Sounds

That'd be very nice to have a decibel/volume limit to how loud an audio file can be attached to an avatar. Either by giving a "your audio's decibel level is too high! Lower it before uploading" message, or just automatically bring the audio level down to a capped limit.

I personally think that this is not the right way to approach this.
Instead, there should be a volume meter for individual avatar sounds in general

We already have a limiter on the mic audio but that's a good idea to add one to the avatar audio also.

Some kind of audio pre/post processing normalization feature would be good. I'm not sure if you can insert that in between audio receiving and audio playback to the player, but that seems ideal

I personally think the best solution is to provide client-side volume control somehow. Currently the only way to control/mute avatar audio is to block the user and that's not ideal at all.

Hey Phantom. That's a good suggestion as I've been hearing lots of super loud avatars. We have been working on audio limits but we can definitely do more to make those sounds not as loud.
