Display location of friends in social menu
complete
dj3520
Display the map name of where your friends are in the social menu's listing. Would also show "in a private world" for friends that are in private worlds. This would make joining off friends tons faster instead of having to click on them one by one to see who is where and who you can join on.

VRChat will be looking into providing more options and features for Social Discovery during this year. This request falls into this category.

Tupper - VRChat Head of Community: do any of those features involve offline mode so streamers and youtubers and such can get around without hordes of people joining them and maxing out the map every time they log in?

「Basil」: Invite-only world: "Am I a joke to you?"

You cannot show full title of worlds in social menu, there is no room for it.
But icons are useful because i cannot enter most private rooms. This should visible with small icons in which type room they are. Makes much easier to decide.
And AFK icon should also useful.... because part of my friends are sleeping in rooms and they cannot invited or visited anyway.

MrDummy_NL: I think it is clear that a redesign of the social menu would be needed to support showing more data about a user in the main list.
Seeing what world someone is in in the list of online users without having to click each one would be awesome.
It would also potentially mean fewer API calls since the main listing would not be reloaded as much with users returning to the main social menu over and over.

owlboy: Yes, this will reduce a lot traffic and many loading data for each user click. Also much faster to choose who you want invite to your world and who not.
May also have colored dots, like in Twitch, my idea is here:
Green = Available / can invited
Blue = Busy / limited invite (can invited, but don't expect it i will come quick)
Yellow = Too busy / cannot invited (mostly for streamers, they have already own things / own rooms)
Purple = AFK / Sleeping (You can enter room if room is set as Friendly or lower, but pay attention and/or keep in silence)
Red = Don't disturb me! (Busy with dating or private matters, you cannot send requests at all!)
Color dots will keep things clean and useful for all users. Is faster visible than icons. Useful for streamers to keep problems low.
