Make player collider slightly shorter so doors can be standard US height.

Currently, the player capsule is exactly 2 meters tall.
The Standard US door height in homes is 6ft 8in tall, or 2.032m.
This means that the amount of room for a player to fit through a standard height door is very small, and often enough is too small for you to fit through. You will often bump your "head" on the door, or get stuck.
I suggest lowering the default collider height to something more reasonable, such as the average US height, or a bit higher, such as 1.7m-1.8m.

This is only one of the endless list of problems the capsule method carries. This is a VR game! We should have a more advanced system to detect the shape of an avatar, not a capsule.

Demirramon: I think a capsule could be fine IF
they made an option for it to 1. scale to the avatar, 2. change height when crouched/crawling/standing/laying down
Marian Dovgialo
Even better adapt capsule size to actual avatar size and VR players head position, so VR players could crouch beneath something.

Marian Dovgialo: This would be even better!!

Being able to adjust the player collider width/height via the VRC_Player Mods component would be a great addition especially with udon on the horizon.

Yes please. It leads to awkward tradeoffs in the VRMC world, where blocks that would normally be 1m must be adjusted to 1.0625m to accommodate for the oversized player capsule and allow the player to fit through doors 2 blocks high. Ideally, 2 meter high doorways would not cause the player to get stuck.
If compatibility is a concern, an option in the Scene Descriptor to customize dimensions of the player capsule would allow worlds to design for a particular shape without fear that the player capsule will change in a future update.
