Ruuubick - Designer: Now after I took my old 64Gb ssd out and bought a 500Gig nvme? If there is a god it hates me....

How about the cache is stored in the documents folder, has a maximum size of 4GB and when it reaches its limit, it deletes the oldest files first and frees space for new cache data. It'd be cool to also have a "clear cache" button in the game settings so if the auto-delete function can't remove anything for some reason you can just YEET the entire cache.

Management of downloaded worlds

One thing that I think could be very useful is to have a management panel of the downloaded worlds, where you can decide which ones to delete from the hard disk and which ones to keep. This is because sometimes it happens to go and find a friend in a world and then you no longer enter that world, so it takes up unnecessary space in my computer, and the only way to eliminate it at the moment is to delete all the worlds that I downloaded, as it's not possible to identify it from the files in the folders, so it is quite inconvenient because I will have to re-download all the worlds in which I frequently go

I agree with Shanie. Other applications that cache data on the scale that VRChat does (like browsers) cache data with respect to their user's drive space.
Chrome's cache will only ever take up a percentage of available disk space: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=96264#c28
Firefox has a max cache size policy: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.disk.capacity
It is ridiculous that VRChat took up almost half of my available disk space on my SSD. Please implement reasonable caching policies like TTL or LRU.

Microsoft suggests App Data be used for ...App data, but they also implore the app author to be RESPONSIBLE for its use and respect the user. Making normal users dick around with Command Prompt isn't a solution. VRChat needs to move on this.

An adjustable cap would be nice for those who want a larger cache as well as those who want a smaller one. Realistically a custom location would be best, or at least moving the current location to %tmp%

Also, see if we can find a way to modify cache folder location...
make a hard link is a good option for now...

Put it on another drive than C: and I don't care about the size....
Kyle Williams
Hagbard Celine: Yes please this. My C: drive is a small but fast SSD. I'd love the option to throw the cache on my giant HDD instead.
Hagbard Celine
Kyle Williams: You can. Windows supports hardlinks...

But it would be better for most users if there is a simple option in the menu or a popup during the install.
