As someone who has an expansive friendslist like most VRChat users I as well as others find it annoying either receiving invites from users we dont recognize cause they changed name at somepoint so we question our friendships. I think adding a feature to see the users previous name show up either permanently or temporarily after said name change. Also adding the ability to give friend nicknames is good in case theres someone who constantly changes their name.
