We didn't need this for AICom before, but with the upgrade to 2022, windows mixer no longer can differentiate between which process it's applying the override to.
This means that, we no longer can differentiate the player's game audio from the bots audio.
So we need this to be able to separate outputs from the users client and the AI Chat Bots client.

Still want this to be added. My headphones die fairly frequently and not being able to switch to speakers really kills the experience for me.

Beating a ded thread, but anywho:
Not just being able to change THE audiodevice ingame - go all the way:
Have the option to assign different audio-types to different audio-devices!
I for eg would LOVE to be able to route voices somewhere totally seperate from the general game-audio.
Also: Volume control assignable somewhere (keyboard, controller etc pp)

I totally support this. I find it quite annoying when headset decides to cut out for a second (wireless adapter) then the game switches my audio without any way to switch it to my headset forcing me and I assume many others to have to totally reset their games in order to fix it. This would help take out a little bit of that extra bit of frustration of ones headset cutting out in vrchat without having to worry about being forced to reset their game if they wish to hear once again.

i totally support this and would add
simply a menu with device selector
something along those lines
Input : (Drop Down Menu)
-Default Device
-Default Communication Device
-"device 0" (Vive Microphone)
-"Microphone" (High Definition Device)
Output : (drop down menu)
-Default Device
-Default Communication Device
-"device 0" (Vive Headphones)
-"Speaker" (High Definition Device)
FPSVR and Steam VR does it brilliantly but vrchat needs to be restarted each time you want to swap device which is kind of time consuming when you need to setup twice a FBT

Absolutely a big deal^^ Sucks to have to restart.

I've been having alot of issues with Vive lately, where my headset stops tracking, and to fix, i have to unplug and replug. If I do that while VRC is running, it has a chance to cut my audio off, and no longer can hear, while in game unless I restart. Having the ability to change output audio would help make this nuisance bareable.

Yes please! It’s also a big nuisance for us wireless users because if our headset cuts out, the audio gets switch by vrchat automatically and we have to restart :(
