There was an old safety mechanic that still around. Squeezing both triggers and both vrchat menu buttons trigger everyone avatar is blocked and muted.
It would be handy to have this also reset avatar because it's a fast deploy and I can initiate it when i see myself being forced into a crash avatar.

Sounds like a good idea to me. FYI You can also hold down CTRL-\ on the keyboard to reset your avatar. This works with VR PC headsets aswell. I can see this being very important for quest users who have no access to a keyboard.

It just makes sense.
Anyone worried about losing an un-favorited public avatar on accident by triggering it… seems like a fair tradeoff to me.
But I also don't use such avatars, so I'm likely in a minority.
