Party system
Sapling - Gmod,TF2, and more!
Basically you could invite friends and randoms to your party (there would be an option to auto deny party requests) then if the party leader changes worlds, the members follow. Could be fun for checking out random world's with your friends or raiding (the fun and non toxic type)
This was written with a phone so excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes.

This would help a lot with a lot of issues my friend group has when we hang out! Sometimes we'll join instances only to find out some of our friends we were hanging out with can't get in for one reason or another (invite-only, PC-only, ID-restricted, etc). This'll also make world-hopping way, way easier.
I wrote a big detailed concept which is too long for this box, I'll try to sum it up...
There should be a temporary party tab in the small Quick Menu, where the party settings, members, and leader's current instance are shown, and where the party leader can transfer leadership (this is not a request). The instance display here will have a join button or the Instance Closed indicator, whichever applies.
If the instance the party leader is in is (group) public, {invite|friends|group}plus, or if the party leader joins via invites, party members can always join the party leader. You'll get an automatic invite when the party leader (only!) changes instances.
When you receive an invite
request
from a party leader, you can see the members of that person's party, so you know who to expect when they join. When you send someone an invite, you don't see this for privacy reasons, just a warning that they are in a party. For certain situations, like group-only (incl. role restricted) and friends-only instances, joining a PC-only world with non-PC players, or joining an instance run by a group that has any member banned, the party leader will get a warning that they are leaving people behind when they try to join that instance.
Parties should use vote kicks to remove people from the party, and the party leader should not be able to unilaterally dissolve the party, only leave it.
Don't auto-end parties immediately; wait an hour after everyone has logged off to end the party (crashes happen).
Instance owners and moderators should be able to see (including on nameplates) who are party leaders, and who are in a party together in that instance, for moderation purposes. Maybe even being able to kick the entire party (every member, all at once, even the ones not in the instance).
If your friend is a party leader and you are in an instance with them, you should be able to request to join their party.

I like the idea, but I would love a pop up saying
"Party leader is portaling to: "World Name"
Would you like to follow?
YES NO"
as much as I love my friends, I wanna know where we're going before we go

VRChat party system where you can party up with friends to make world hopping easier.
Party leader will hop to a world and if you wish to follow a notification will pop up allowing you to click join or decline.
If joining a qued instance it would put everyone in your party into the que at the same time. That way it's all synced up and your group is more organized when joining events together.
( Instead of having 1 person who is 5th in que and one person who is 40th in que because they didn't know to que up because miscommunication )
I would love something like this tbh, I feel like every weekend when hopping around with friends there is always 1 or 2 people who didn't hear we're hopping and then they didn't que up for an instance and then they often don't make it in :(
