Remove the blue loading guy avatar.

Replace it with a logo or a generic shape, or just make it invisible. I don't want to see this abstract Homer Simpson-looking dude every time someone switches. It's crude, the IK doesn't match, and it detracts from the aesthetic nomatter which world you're in.

Holographic Homer was replaced with a more abstract loading avatar in a previous update.

I imagine a blue outline of your actual avatar, preprocessed to a low poly version so that there isn't much data to fetch to display it as a placeholder. So you can load and display that really quickly and then start loading the real thing.

yeah i agree, it should be replaced with a vrchat logo. or some type of loading image instead of a spooky blue ghost
Al Capone
It would be nice if it was just a humanoid shape made of particles. No face.

Al Capone: Yeah!^^^ But one that's easy on frames! Can't imagine being in The Pug and seeing 20 of GPU temp avatars running around. xD
SunflowerTwix
Actually, I think it would be better using a non-particle or animated shader on the blue avatar. it's nauseating when you first load into a world and see 50 of them grouped together. xD

With the new changes now we see them everytime someone changes avatar while it loads the new one instead of leaving the old one until its done.
I agree that its not the best thing to look at but I'm not sure what good replacement would be for it since, the other default avatars aren't that great either, making someone invisible while changing avatar just doesn't sound right (maybe it would be abused somehow), the icon might be ok-ish (can't picture it in my head but just don't make it 2D please).
Maybe the ideal solution would be to go back as it was before, where it doesn't change the avatar the person has until it loads the new one, and just keep the loading bar on top of the avatar to let people know that a new avatar is being loaded.

But I love the PVC pipe playing group!
