It's easy to rotate an item using vr controlers, but non-vr user have a hard time. By pressing R we could rotate a werewolf card, put a glass of water back on it's feet. Pressing R will block the head movement to move the item.

This is currently possible using a controller which allows you to rotate and move the object further or closer to you. I understand it might be inconvient to use a controller just for this feature but it does at least exist.

There are mice with two wheels so you could use em for the x+z axis. Why not? Would allow desktop users to put stuff on a table in a proper way.

this is possible to do already however it does require the use of a controller(Steam, Xbox, PS4) but it would be helpful to be able to do this without having them
