See population number in a map a friend is in

Any map over 20 people gets laggy, and I keep wanting to join in on a friend in another map but when i join i find out theres 32 people in it and have to retreat to my vrhome cause i could barley handle the spawn point. Currently we can see what maps our friends are in, can it also be added so that we can see how many people are in that map that the friend is in? That way we can determine if we can handle it before joining them.

I'll do you one better, I'd like to be able to open up the map menu for the instance, see the player list, and be able to drop a portal depending on how available the instance is.

and also maybe if its friends+, friends, public or whatever else. I always when I join a friend look first if he/she/it is with some friends or in a public world
