Opening either the big or small menu, causes a noticeable fps drop (been that way for years) especially if you have alot of friends too. Depending on the world, instance population, avatars loaded; 5-10+ fps is lost when opening the menu. Now take into account, that you are already at 60-45 for those with better rigs or 15-30 with older rigs before opening the menu (depending on the factors mentioned earlier)

It would be nice if we could have the option to have a simplified menu. That only shows the bare minimum of what we actually need to see. Shi- it would help greatly when you are just scrolling through the menus if it were more optimized instead of it constantly trying to load/stream/cache data also I don't want to see the advertisements.. I already have VRC+ (remember mobile games.. their ads are always annoying, laggy, interrupt the game)

I can read just fine, so I already know what Im looking at and where Im navigating, and what "menus and sub-menus" Im interacting with.

Im perfectly fine with my menu looking like an 80s computer interface if it means, Im no longer at risk of crashing when I open my menu, especially during populated instances.
