The new launch pad is awful
MosssyFox
Its reconfiguration was unnecessary, and now every time I use it my muscle memory is all wrong. Why was it changed?! Nothing was added, they just moved things around in a way that screws with you!

The situation has gotten worse.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who would prefer a bigger button.
I also checked the long Discord log, but I don't think there were any positive comments about the current Launchpad.
Someone please help.

To be honest, I can get used to it if I was told to, but I don't think that's a good reason to make things worse.

Just give us the ability to customize the ui icons around.
Unless advertisement is VRChat’s top priority then I can see why you guys move things around as a marketing stunt sell and push ads like at the end of avatar slots.
Live now is like “ Let’s throw some unrelated events infront of you, oh here’s an event that we know you “ may, like, hope you join in “ events
and lag your UI with tons of groups IMGes as you load into the world for the first time of the day

It's gotten even worse.
The fixed position has been changed due to the ugly UI.

I think the arrangement is good,
home
respawn
selections
safety
The vertical width of is too small

I strongly recommend this given when I opened VRChat today the first 'event' I saw showed images of self-harm on the auto-popup menu.

Very much like the change to Windows 11, UI changes are annoying. I know we'll adjust but the amount of times on muscle memory I accidently misclick when trying to open the social tab or calibrate is insane. Please do not go move the most used buttons on a whim.

I also think that this Launchpad update is not a good one.
To summarize briefly:
Don't move important buttons too frequently.
Don't make important buttons smaller.
Don't remove the expand button.
Don't leave too much white space.
You should judge the importance of a button based on how many times you press it.
You should carefully align what users need with what the management wants them to use.
Another way to put it is this:The menu from about a year ago is better.
I thought that criticism alone would only complicate the situation, so I only made the bare minimum changes and created an image as an example of a better design.
I've posted it alongside the current version for easy comparison.
I believe there are many areas that could be improved if we carefully honed them in on them, but I intentionally kept the changes to a minimum.
System overhauls are important at times, but innovation without user support is simply destructive. If the person who created this UI arbitrarily swapped the back and home buttons on the smartphone, and changed the PC keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY, or vice versa, would people understand how inconvenient it would be?

NOR-U you GET IT! I LOVE THAT EXPAND BUTTON! This looks like the perfect launch pad honestly. I love it.

NOR-U This is my favorite comment so far, its the best one so far.

+1 .. Gave it a chance, but the most used buttons like "respawn" and "calibrate" is just .. a lot more inconvenient now.. Like.. why?
Not to mention the content of the big menu (Live now) section being utterly irrelevant to how I use vrc. I could not care less. And even having it automatically pop up on every start is just infuriating.
I gave it a go. Tried not to judge it. But nothing of these changes have been an improvement - Quite the opposite.

I had a difficulty trying to find home, sit/stand because of the words are small to notice it’s there.
The 2 options below 3 options are going to be very useless because I don’t want to shop, including the events that are live.
The new quick menu look does look very useless, with the full menu I prefer the old one. Why I wanna go to live or upcoming events that I’m not interested?
