A nickname system like discord, where in VRChat you can rename your friends to be something you remember, what you call your friends, This will show like this in the Friends list and on their name plate local to only you, You can view their original name on their VRC profile in game

(Much more useful than notes)

(The nickname you set will also stay if they actually change their username on VR Chat, Which is why the original name will stay in their profile 😁)

This has got quite a few votes within the discord itself and I wanted to actually post it as a proper feature here.
