Ipad mic sensitivity too low, have to really yell to be heard

iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (6th generation) ios 18.1 beta 6 Mic sensitivity is set to 100% in settings, but in the metering, I can't get more than about 5% of pickup. I really have to yell for people in game to be able to hear me.

Interesting follow up.. I tried running the Beta on an actual Iphone, and the mic level is quite normal and works. This seems to be an ipad related issue. I know the mic works fine, as I use it for Zoom/discord/phone.
