Native UI constantly forces Portrait Mode
tracked

Issue:
The newly implemented Native UI is constantly forcing your Phone / Tablet in Portrait Mode.
This is especially annoying on Andorid Tablets.
Expected Behaviour:
The Native UI should not force a specifc device orientation, just like the client it self doesn't.
(and yes, the Native UI works in Landscape, it
sometimes
allows you to use it)Log In

While we'd like to support tablets, our focus right now is on phones. I think the solution here is to only support a landscape mode on Tablets or displays of a certain ratio+density. The truth is that landscape mobile UI tends to be too squished and hard to follow. In the upcoming release, we've fixed the issue of the app
sometimes
being able to go into landscape mode on the Native UI. That said, I think it's safe to keep this as tracked as it's hard to say we'll always force portrait as we expand device support.StormRel
