VRChat can get stuck on downloading/initializing a world with no means to return back to the home-page-hub.

- Open VRChat on Android - Phone.
- Load into a VRChat world in a way that loads the 2D loading variant, notthe 3D.
- While your world is buffering, or is going to buffer, make your phone sleep, lock, and/or hibernate whilst loading.
- There is a non-zero chance that you may be stuck downloading, loading or initializing your world, with no chance to return or exit from the softlock.
Due to the lack of an ability to use the phones "back" button (whatever variant each phone may use) and the lack of a return-to-menu button, you will be stuck on this screen until you close-and-reopen VRChat.
