[1137] Platform support indicator missing in avatar wing menu
complete
Scarlet Crystal
The avatar wing menu currently doesn't indicate whether or not an avatar has PC/Quest support. This makes looking for cross-platform/platform-specific avatars in the wing menu difficult.

[1137] Can't check the supported platforms (PC/Quest) of other players’ avatars

Please restore the "icon indicating the Supported Platform" for avatars on the "Clone Public Avatar" that was removed in the Open Beta.
Due to the QM change in Open Beta, the blue and green (or gray) icons, indicating the Supported Platform for avatars used by others, that used to be on the "Clone Public Avatar" button (changes to "Clone Not Allowed" or "Can't Clone Private" depending on the situation) until [1134] have been removed.
This icon is one of what I have been relying on very heavily to play cross-platform VRChat.
In the Open Beta, the disappearance of the icon has caused the following problems.
・Can’t recognize my own avatar
When a PC user clones a public avatar, the user cannot determine whether a Quest users will see the same appearance or the fallback avatar until pointed it out by the Quest users. The same problem occurs when a Quest user clone a PC-unsupported avatar.
・Occurrence of communication discrepancies
When PC users and Quest users chat about the avatar they are wearing, it is likely to happen communication discrepancies. Especially in the case of chatting between beginners, cross-platform and fallback systems are often not understood. Many people are confused by the outward differences between them. Senior users have been checking and explaining the supported platforms of avatars, but the removing of the icon makes it difficult to do so.
・Making cross-platform event management more difficult
Although each player has a different attitude toward the above communication discrepancy, there are many events that do not take kindly to this and encourage players to participate with cross-platform avatars. This is especially emphasized at events where appearance is important such as role-playing events and gaming events. To run these events, it is important for the administrators to know the platform support status of the participants' avatars. But this is no longer possible.
These problems can be solved by restoring the blue and green icons on the "Clone Public Avatar" button to indicate the supported platform of the avatar, as in [1134]. However, there may be more efficient and better places to place the design.
For example, instead of "Clone Public Avatar", it could be displayed on the "Show Avatar Stats" button, which would allow users to check the status and supported platform of their own avatar as well as those of others in the new QM. I think this would be a more versatile improvement.
In addition, I think that displaying the icon on the nameplate that indicates the supported platform of the avatar (as well as the avatar's performance rank) will help reduce the risk of communication discrepancies.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
My post is supposed to be different from Scarlet Crystal's one.
He is talking about avatars in the wing menu, which is for using the user’s avatar, while I am talking about clone public avatar button in the QM, which is for cloning another player’s using avatar.
